Knowledge Base: A valid email address (contact) bounced, what can I do?

Some remote mail servers return email as bounced, even though the email was actually detected as spam (due to the content of the message). If the email address is valid and was automatically marked as “Do Not Email” or unsubscribed, the contact can be marked as allow email or re-subscribed via the following:

  • Do Not Email → Allow Email
    1. Find the contact
      • Search by name or email address or
      • Click the “Contacts” tab
    2. Click on the contact
    3. Click the “Edit Contact” button
    4. Uncheck “Do Not Email”
    5. Click “Save”
  • Unsubscribe → Subscribe
    1. Find the contact
      • Search by name or email address or
      • Click the “Contacts” tab
    2. Click on the contact
    3. Click “Unsubscribed” in the “List Subscriptions” table, next to the appropriate list

If you are planning to duplicate the message, we recommend reviewing the sent message content for words to avoid, before sending the new, duplicated message.
